Location: Strategically situated at a major transportation hub (Interstates 25 and 80) and 90 minutes north of Denver, Colorado, ! Cheyenne is a developing center of commerce near the Rocky Mountains with excellent quality of life for families, an intellectual atmosphere, excellent public or private education, affordable housing and beautiful blue skies Facility: This is the largest medical practice in southeast Wyoming comprised of fourteen physicians and three mid-level providers. In 1999, they completed an expansion of the clinic space doubling the clinic size to 39,000 sq. ft. to better serve the needs of their growing community.
Their physicians are each staffed with an assigned nurse to assist with patient care, patient education and patient flow. On average, they see approximately 200-250 patients per day in our clinic. The clinic also hosts a separately incorporated outpatient ambulatory surgical center to provide for routine endoscopy, bronchoscopy, lumbar punctures and nerve or muscle biopsy procedures. They also have facilities for onsite EEG, Stress EKG, EEG, EMG, NCV and pulmonary! function testing.
The clinic offers outpatient chemo! therapy for our cancer partients supervised by a visiting oncologist. Mammography and Dexa Scan units were recently added to their existing Radiology area and their CLIA and Medicare certified lab offers impressive onsite services for routine and STAT labs. Opportunity: Position is to work as an Internist in the clinic 9-5pm Monday-Friday. Average patient volume of 22-25 per day.
No weekends, beeper call for patients of the practice only. Inpatients are sent to the Hospitalist program. Compensation: Top part of the MGMA. Great benefits including sign of of $20,000, relocation of up to $15,000 and student loan repayment of up to $90,000.
