Proactive MD is actively transforming the legacy on-site employer clinic industry through its next-generation Health and Wellness Centers. We are growing and looking to add to our team an innovative and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Specialist.

JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for championing Proactive MD’s mission, vision, and values as the primary point of contact for all candidates. This role sources, screens, and engages top talent and is responsible for full life cycle recruiting processes for all openings. In coordination with HR team, this role makes recommendations for improvements for our recruiting processes and candidate experience, as well as takes ownership of maintaining continuous communication with candidates to generate an overall positive experience with Proactive MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with department managers and People Ops to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

  • Utilizes effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Manages job postings and advertisements.

  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

  • Manage the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborates with the hiring manager to prepare employment offers, supporting compensation and benefit discussions, incentives, onboarding logistics, in accordance with policies and best practices.

  • Maintains awareness of and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies with regard to hiring practices.

  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: administrative support, performance management administration, and training administration.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • SHRM or HRCI certification(s) preferred.

  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience with a degree. Or 5+ years of recruiting experience without a degree. Previous health professions recruiting experience is highly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • While performing the duties of this marketing and communications job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, and hear.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and extended use of a computer and phone are required.

  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift office products.

  • Additionally, the employee will need to be able to lift/move/store individual 20-30 pound boxes and items such as office and medical supplies and equipment.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This role will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours/week as directed. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role is considered an exempt position. Evening and weekend work are infrequent but may occasionally be required as business needs dictate.

TRAVEL

Infrequent, domestic travel may be required and should be expected to be less than 10% of the position’s overall responsibilities.
