Store Manager [South Africa]


 

Our busy Rivonia store needs a hardworking and professional Store Manager who can work retail hours, with excellent customer service and people management skills. Must work well with a team and handle themselves well under pressure. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of retail experience, a flair for visual merchandising, impeccable customer relations and a good head for figures and administration Responsibilities. Johannesburg candidates only.

Salary: R12586 - R23505/month depending on experience (Probation Period: 3 months)

Work terms to be negotiated after probation period has ended, (based on performance)

Additional benefits after probation (full-time):
Over-time. Contribution towards travel & health insurance support

Working Hours:
9am-6:30pm (Mon-Sat)

Leadership & Management

  • Effectively lead and manage the store team
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Effectively communicate with all role players and departments
  • Effectively delegate and direct staff
  • Safeguarded the store’s operations and stock
  • Manage and be accountable for all receipts and sales.
  • Enforcing and implementing AWESOME customer service by all shop staff at all times.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing, mentoring, and leading staff.
  • Effectively planning, organising and controlling all operations of a retail store in accordance with the Company’s standards and procedures.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times

Shop Outputs

  • Merchandising
  • Receiving/Ordering Products
  • Look after defects in the store
  • Staying in constant communication with the other stores and warehouse.
  • Customer care: Deal with all customer queries and complaints in a caring, polite and professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure that process flows are adhered to
  • Minimise stock loss/damage/theft.
  • Following up on queries and discrepancies timelessly.
  • Enforcing strict control over the movement of stock
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Maintaining good interdepartmental and customer relationships.
  • Preparation of monthly reports
  • Ordering of stock from the central warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R12,586.00 - R23,505.00 per month
