Job Title - Full Time Scheduler including Saturdays
Location - 100% Remote work for a dental office located in New Jersey
Who We Are - We are a New Jersey based dental office with both general dentists and specialists in house. We pride ourselves on being the best for our patients in service, care, and convenience. We are currently looking to bring on a full time scheduler that can be an integral part of that mission statement.
Job Description - As our scheduler, you would receive patient appointment requests via the phone line and online portal, and contact patients with schedule openings.
Your main responsibilities would include the following:
- Collecting new patient information during the scheduling process.
- Accurately scheduling different types of appointments.
- Monitoring and filling gaps in the schedule to achieve a 100% goal for each provider.
- Light payment collection for patients who are scheduling dental work and need to pay a deposit if not done already.
- Instructing patients on how to prepare for their visits with us. Providing identification, insurance cards, and filling out forms, for example.
- Communicating key information with the team such as schedule changes or special
patient considerations.
- Reactivating patients.

Job Requirements:
- A kind and empathetic approach.
- Dental experience preferred but not required.
- Some office/scheduling experience.
- Great communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- An understanding of the importance of accuracy in the healthcare industry.
- Willingness to work in a fast paced, multi-provider environment.
- You will not be required to travel to the office.
- Reliable internet and home desktop/laptop and a quiet environment to work in
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
