For our workshops located in San Dimas and Irwindale, California, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to be a part of the industrialization of our new products. In this role you will contribute to the achievement of our manufacturing and quality objectives, and thus meet the needs of our customers around the world.
This role can be seen as the “conductor” of the development and industrialization of new products. You will oversee the development of the products respecting the criteria of design, quality, cost and deadline to ensure their launch in store. With rigor and dynamism, you will coordinate several projects simultaneously with all teams in the workshops (quality, production, supply chain, maintenance, and others). You will need to show initiative and analyze risks before deciding next steps. You will collaborate with interlocutors present on site but also with the development, marketing, and supply chain teams in our headquarters as well as with our external partners. You will have an overview of the projects thanks to, among other things, the project management tool, and you will support your ideas with figures.
As a Project Coordinator, reporting to the Industrialization Manager, you will:
- Be the central point of communication and direction for the projects that you are responsible for
- Oversee the development of the new products
- Coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with teams here in the workshops but also in our headquarters
PROFIL
- Engineering or equivalent background
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in project management
- Exposure to the industrial / leather goods sector
- Curious, autonomous and a challenge seeker
- Like to be on the ground and in the heart of the action
- Proactive and organized
- Able to motivate a group
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$70,000 - $100,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contribution.
